“An Introduction”
11/20/06

“Hey you, bastard, go out and find a job”
or “You are weird” or “You are a Worthless
Person,” etc., etc.
The above statements are just some of
the many things that a person who has
Mental Illness has to deal with on a daily
basis.  If the person who has a Mental
Illness cannot deal with the verbal abuse of
other people, then that person’s state of
mind will worsen to the point that they will
start to do destructive things to themselves.
I am a person who has a mental illness
and my purpose is to write a personal
journal about my everyday battles with the
illness that I have, which is called Bi-Polar
Disorder and to give people the courage
and hope to overcome or at least to learn
how to manage their illnesses.
The above statements that I wrote about
at the beginning of this Introduction were
examples of how a situation can get worse
if a person does not seek professional help
from a medical doctor, a therapist, or a
psychiatrist.
I am looking forward to hearing from you,
and together we can overcome or manage
our illnesses.

Thank you
